Dear Sir,
It is true that the Getting Started Guide does not mention much about FMC30RF or KC705. However everything is generic, so it does not matter much. Note that we are working on updating the documentation.
The getting started guide has a evaluation FMC A/D products on ML605. The same applies for KC705 and FMC30RF:
- The bit file for KC705 - FMC30RF will be found in the same area as other firmware : C:\Program Files (x86)\4dsp\Common\Firmware\Recovery (C:\Program Files (x86)\4dsp\Common\Firmware\Recovery\227_kc705_fmc30rf)
- The KC705 - FMC30RF firmware source will be extracted (by the installer) in the same area as other firmware : C:\Program Files (x86)\4dsp\Common\Firmware\Extracted (C:\Program Files (x86)\4dsp\Common\Firmware\Extracted\227_kc705_fmc30rf)
- The FMC30RF software application source code is installed as for other FMC software under C:\Program Files (x86)\4dsp\FMC Board Support Package\Refs\Software (C:\Program Files (x86)\4dsp\FMC Board Support Package\Refs\Software\FMC30RF). Note that the software documentation is found there, in a doxygen format.
- The FMC30RF user manual is found as for other FMC product under C:\Program Files (x86)\4dsp\FMC Board Support Package\Documentation.
All these paths are same accross products/carriers so you can safely rely on the information found in the getting started guide.
Some extra information not part of the documentation can be found on this forum topic, it describes what the reference design does :
