Title: Using both FMC645 & FMC116 on the same Xilinx VC707
Post by: zeevs on June 10, 2013, 06:52 PM
Hi,

I would like to use simultaneously both FMC645 & FMC116 (occupying both HPC slots)
Are there any recommendations or reference how to merge FPGA designs?

Thanks

Zeev

Dear Zeev,
You will need to change the UCF constraints of one design in order to target the other HPC slot and merge the files. The easiest would be to proceed with these modification inside ISE Navigator as StellarIP generated two working project.

Hi Arnaud,

do you have a description/list of FPGA pins that can be connected to the second HPC slot and I can use them for FMC116?

Thanks

Zeev

Dear Zeev,

FPGA Pins are carrier dependent and we have not targeted the other connector ourselves. I believe the documentation for the Xilinx evaluation boards has the complete pin list for both FMC connectors.
