Title: problems on getting started with FM780+FM110
Post by: filippo speziali on April 30, 2014, 09:13 AM
Dear Sir/Madam

Today we received at Aresys our FMC780+FMC110 card mounted on a technobox 5933 PCIe adapted.

We inserted the module on a PCIe slot of an HP workstation.

The problem we see by inspection is that LEDs are signallings some failures.

CPLD LED 1 and CPLD LED2 are flushing fast, while all the other LEDS are OFF.

Of course Windows do not detect anything on the PCI bus

Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed?

Regards
Filippo Speziali

Hi Fillipo

can you try to restart your computer and see if the FM780 gets detected? Sometimes the BIOS is too fast in enumerating the PCIe bus and the board will not show until you restart

thanks,
Erik
