Title: FMC110 on ZC706
Post by: pnumer on July 07, 2014, 07:03 PM
Is is possible to run just the ADC part of the FMC110 using the ZC706?  It appears that the HPC connector on the ZC706 is fully populated but you do not list this as a compatible board.

Dear Sir,

Yeah it is not supported because the limitations are very strong. The ZC706 is NOT fully populated as per the standard, actually no Xilinx board have a real full HPC setup. Its more about were the serial lanes are routed and the lack of pin on the ZC706 package I assume. The limitations are as per the following, note the that same limitations apply for Zedboard and ZC702 also.

- One of of two DAC channels available
- No ADC channels available
- No Front/Io available
- SYNC_FROM_FPGA not available.

I hope this information is sufficient.

Best Regards,
Arnaud

Dear Sir,

Is there anything else I can do around this issue before to close the topic?
