Title: FMC150 installation for VC707
Post by: DSP_Engineer on July 30, 2013, 06:40 PM
Hello,

I installed BSP and upon reviewing CD242(VC707_FMC150) document I realized that  4dsp\Common\Firmware\Extracted\242_vc707_fmc150

folder does not contain top level file or ISE project (output folder is empty) for VC707FMC150 configuration.

I also couldn't find top level file or ISE project anywhere else in the installation folder.

It could be that the installation went bad and that the files are missing or perhaps I'm looking at the wrong folder(s). Could you please let me know where to look for the VC707 project.

Thanks.

Dear Sir,

The firmware are shipped in stellarIP format. StellarIP is the design assistant converting the firmware into an ISE project file.

It is about browsing your VC707-FMC150 firmware main file (.sdf) in StellarIP, configure your ISE version and then press Generate. You can see some information about that in the 4FM Getting Started Guide.

The guide refers to training materials which are not yet available for VC707 but you can replicate the steps using VC707-FMC150 firmware.

Best Regards,
Arnaud
