Title: Xlinks Board not responding on first attempt to communicate
Post by: danraf on March 20, 2013, 12:33 PM
Dear Sir

I am using succesfully the reference design of FM116 on VC707. However we I run the application (FMC116app.exe) it sometimes fails to communicate with the board on first try, and occationally it makes it on third or fourth try. Do you have an explanation or remedy?

Regards
Dani

Dear Dani,
I guess this is about unreliable ethernet communication, this can be many things as an ethernet cable to long, the 4DSP protocol driver not the only one in the network protocol stack.
Some pointers can be found in our FAQ section.
Best Regards,
Arnaud
