Title: fmc150 bypass filter
Post by: danraf on March 10, 2013, 08:32 PM
Dear Sir

I have few questions about fmc150. First, I want to bypass the DAC filter. I shorted the 4 places where a short resistors were indicated on the board. Is there also a need to disconnect other components? Please instruct.

Is the X2 interpolation mode working in the reference design? Is changing the flag in the software sufficient or there is additional things to do to make it work?

Thank you

Dear Sir,
Any soldering on the board is not allowed and will waive out your warranty. In this respect, I cannot provide you with any guidelines. Normally customers are asking us to modify the boards which are then retested/requalified.
The interpolation rate also require clock modifications as the ration between DAC digital clock and DAC analog clock should be changed.
Best Regards,
Arnaud
