Title: VC707 FMC110/FMC150 compatibility
Post by: stanstanev on August 10, 2012, 02:32 PM
Hi,

I am having a difficult time figuring out whether either of the two HPC FMC slots on the series 7 VC707 carrier card can be configured to output levels of LVDS_25.  From all the documentation that I've read for VC707 it looks like all the pins on the FMC slots are connected to an adjustable voltage but only a maximum of 1.8V.
Have you been able to run any of your daughter cards that are compatible with ML605 on a VC707 board?  If so could you provide information on how to adjust the supply voltage of the banks that are routed to the FMC slots to LVDS_25.

Thanks
Stan

Dear Stan,

The FMC110 and a lot of cards are not compatible with the VC707. We are redesigning the FMC110 so it can cope with that.

Arnaud

Arnaud,

do you know when an FMC204 compatible with VC707 will be available?

Thanks
Stan

Hello Stan,

FMC204 is a half of FMC110 but the same PCB, I am not able to tell you much about the time required but we are waiting our first batch!

You might want to ask my sales colleague about that!

Best Regards,
Arnaud

All 4DSP FMC products that were affected by the lack of 2.5V I/O support on the Virtex-7 have now been released and are compatible with the Virtex-7. Please see attached Product Change Notification for details.
