Real Time Fiber Optics Sensing
Description
The RTS150 is an off-the-shelf Real Time Fiber Optics Sensing solution. With tens of thousands of strain or temperature sensors constantly monitored up to 100 times per second, the RTS150 brings sensing technology to an unprecented level of performance. Based on NASA's revolutionary and patent pending technology* this product delivers reliable measurements in the most demanding environments. The RTS150 can be used as a test instrument or embedded as part of critical applications that require real-time monitoring. The Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBG) make it possible to extract environmental parameters such as strain loads and temperature gradients continuously. With virtually weightless sensor arrays, this product is applicable to structures of any nature where real-time changes must be monitored.
A built-in computer and pre-installed software makes the RTS150 easy to operate whether by connecting a screen, mouse or keyboard directly or by accessing it via an Ethernet network.
