PP157

Description

The PP157 is a high performance data acquisition and processing platform dedicated to digital recording applications. The PP157 VME based card comprises sixteen 10MSPS A/D channels as well as four Virtex-4 FPGAs. Real-time recording can be easily achieved by connecting the FPDP or fibre channel to a disk array (200Mbytes/s sustained). Communication with a host computer via the VME bus enables users to control the system, modify algorithm settings on-the-fly and extract data for further analysis. Several VME cards can be cascaded and communicate via FPDP or VME bus in order to increase the channel count and the recording capability.
